After Retiring from Pacific Bell, I followed my passion for Real Estate and got my license in 1991.   I started out as an agent in the High Desert selling vacant land and then moved on to the Bay area as a Sales Agent, personal assistant and then found my niche as a Transaction Coordinator, (I think it was my engineering background that grounded me on my attention to detail.)   I fell in love with Nevada County while on vacation and decided to move to the beautiful Sierra Foothills and settled in Nevada City in 2006. Dollarene was raised as the fifth generation on Turner Mountain in Northern California and has loved
the outdoors all her life. Dollarene loves the outdoors, as well as hunting and fishing, camping, and the
Coast, and is “Fearless to try new things” She is a lifetime equestrian, who started riding when she was
3 and never outgrew her love for horses. She rides every chance she gets and has the experience of

Dan purchased his first investment property while in college, leasing it out to friends and
successfully turning it around at graduation realizing a profit of over 25%. At that point
he had the bug, but it wasn’t until after a successful 20 year career in the Software
Industry as a Client Services Director that he decided to make Real Estate his full time
focus.

Dan joined Alan’s team at Sierra Heritage Realty in April of 2014 and is now the Chief
Operating Officer for the Brokerage. He has been the driving force behind the formation
of Alan’s investment group, which in less than a year has raised funds to purchase
properties (100% profitable investments) around Northern California, with plans to
expand to other geographical areas and increase purchases to hundreds of properties each
year.

I grew up in the Bay Area and have invested in income property there all my life. I decided to look for a vacation property in Grass Valley in 2012 and after meeting Alan Savage and folks at Sierra Heritage Realty, I was so impressed that I decided to forget the vacation property and move here and become an agent.

I focus on land sales and showing properties all over the county is more pleasure than work. I particularly enjoy combing the nooks and crannies of Nevada and Yuba county for properties to fit each clients needs. I also enjoy quickly selling properties that have been for sale but have languished unsold because they needed a dynamic agent who aggressively marketed the property. Now that I think of it, most of my listings had been on the market for over a year and remained unsold despite the efforts of the previous broker to sell it. I take pride in the fact that the previous broker for one of these properties advised the owner to lower the price $30,000. I told the owner there was nothing wrong with the price and had it sold within 90 days. There is a difference between real estate agents and real estate firms!

Bruce is a third generation Realtor and real estate investor. As a child growing up in northern Michigan nature and real estate each had a significant influence on his life. He remembers snowshoeing to visit properties during the winter and it seemed every fishing trip included visiting properties. When he was 18 Bruce bought his first property with his cousins and built a hunting camp.

Construction was also part of his life. He started building homes for his uncle when he was in high school. Later he built log cabins, custom furniture, and energy efficient structures. He has experience with light straw, cobb, hay-bale construction as well as living off the grid.

Bruce also has had a 25 year career in education.
